New Possibilities Coming Autumn 2026 | Plus a Fond Farewell

Something new is on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

This Autumn, we’re introducing next-generation AAC solutions designed to bring new possibilities to adults, teens, and children with acquired or long-term complex communication needs. Built with input from AAC users, clinicians, and caregivers, this new AAC device and lifestyle features lineup focuses on greater access, flexibility, and innovation in everyday communication.

From expanded screen options to advanced access capabilities, this upcoming product line release is all about creating more natural, connected communication experiences across environments and access methods.

To celebrate what’s ahead, we’re hitting the road! Think of it as our New Possibilities Tour, where you can see what’s coming and experience it firsthand.

Taking a Final Bow: The Accent 1400 Goodbye Tour

With new possibilities often comes change. And sometimes, that means saying goodbye.

After more than a decade of supporting communication, the Accent 1400 is reaching the end of its journey. First introduced in May 2015, it has been a trusted, high-quality AAC solution for many individuals and professionals.

As technology advances, PRC-Saltillo continues to evolve to better support growing communication needs. The transition to a next-generation product line reflects what we’ve heard from customers and clinicians, along with a commitment to future-focused innovation.

While this change may feel bittersweet, we want to ensure you have the information and support you need.

What to Expect

As the Accent 1400 begins its Goodbye Tour, we’re here to help you plan the next steps with confidence and clarity. To make the most of current availability, here are a few important milestones* to keep in mind:

31st August 2026

  • Due to limited inventory and existing demand, we will stop offering new Accent 1400 assessment or loan requests that are not already in our system

30th September 2026

  • New quotes for the Accent 1400 will no longer be generated or accepted; existing quotes will continue to be processed

31st October 2026

  • Last day to submit orders, including previously generated quotes

*These dates apply to the UK, Ireland and Malta and may change based on available inventory. For PRC-Saltillo international subsidiaries, please contact your local representative for applicable dates for the Accent 1400 end of sale.

Ongoing Support

If you currently use or plan to purchase an Accent 1400 while inventory lasts, you can feel confident in continued support:

  • Devices will continue to be supported for five years from the date of purchase via our Total LibCare Warranty
  • Software updates will continue as long as hardware compatibility allows
  • Liberator Regional AAC Consultants will still be available to you with the exceptional service you’ve come to expect

Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition while honoring the role the Accent 1400 has played in so many communication journeys.
